Best guess is that you now buy way fewer cookbooks than you did a few years ago. Searching for a recipe that uses that perfect butternut squash you picked up at the market, or discovering a new, wowza dinner party dish, is often easier to do on-line. And yet. There’s something about the creativity, photography, personal and food narratives found between the covers of an A+ cookbook that keep me returning to the Cookbooks section of my local bookstore.
